Huggies No Baby Unhugged program
For the fourth consecutive year, Huggies and Meijer have teamed up to empower local shoppers to give back and help families in need during the holiday season.
As part of the Huggies No Baby Unhugged program, for every pack of Huggies purchased now through January 2, 2017, Meijer will donate $1 and Huggies will donate a day’s worth of diapers to the National Diaper Bank Network to help ensure babies throughout the Midwest receive the hugs they need in the form of diapers.
According to a Huggies 2010 study, one in three families nationwide struggle with diaper need – the inability to provide clean, dry diapers for their child.
Hospitals believe in hugs too, but not all have hugger programs. Whether it’s helping to start volunteer hugging programs at hospitals, providing special diapers for micro preemie babies, or donating diapers to babies in need, the No Baby Unhugged program ensures that all babies receive a Huggies hug.

Every year, over 90,000 babies are born too early to be hugged. Micro-preemie babies are so delicate, that the only clothing able to touch their skin is a diaper. So, to help them through their first weeks of life, they not only created a special diaper for these babies, but they inspect, fold and pack each one by hand. Because every baby, no matter how tiny, deserves a hug inspired by yours.
Many parents are struggling to provide their babies with diapers. Help babies in need by donating some of your Huggies Reward Points
We’re excited to announce that Huggies has partnered with one of the top-ranked children’s hospitals in the nation: Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, in Chicago, Illinois. “We encourage parents to hug as much as they can from very early on”, said Rebecca Meyers MS, Child Life Manager, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, at Lurie Children’s. “When babies have a longer stay in the NICU, and parents unfortunately can’t be there all the time, our NICU volunteers are able to step in and help provide this crucial interaction.”
