Sleepover Diary Is Great For Tweens!
Sleepover Diary™ is beautifully illustrated in original water-color drawings on every page. The book is printed on a felt-finish paper which further enhances the drawings.
Sleepover Diary™ gets its name from nine-year-old Alice, its inspiration, because the diary “sleeps over” at a friend’s house when it is exchanged by BFFs. You can read all about on the first page.
The diary is divided into three sections, with each offering a different topic to be explored. In the About Me section, it’s an opportunity to share favorite interests, such as music, TV shows, sports, and movies. In the Diary section, friends can summarize what they did for the day, including what made them happy or sad, and what they read and ate. Also, in this section, volunteering is encouraged with questions about how they help out in their community. The friends can even focus on the environment as they participate in “saving our planet” activities and writing about them. In the final section, Memories, friends can write about any of their favorite BFF moments.
When each friend completes a section, he/she passes Sleepover Diary™ to the next friend to complete with his/her own thoughts and stories. When Sleepover Diary™ is completed, each friend may order a copy of his/her own exactly the same quality as the original.
They give the author plenty of room to write and express anything.
Here they give them a place to start then they can write a lot or a little.
These pages are wonderful for the kids to express how they are feeling and why. They can learn more about themselves by answering these questions. Some kids do not feel they can talk to their parents and this will help them at least express some of how they are feeling. Desiree took hers on vacation and had her cousins write some things. Of course they are a secret from me! LOL
I love these pages so they can always remember to help out someone and they will learn to be proud of themselves and want to do it more in the future.
Your friends will have fun with this part. This book will really help kids at an awkward age. They will feel more secure and confident.
