This book talks about the different types of superfood’s to eat to stay healthy. The back it has a section called “General Health Benefits of Superfoods and another section called Managing Health Conditions with Superfoods” both sections are awesome. They tell you a fruit or vegetable and what it is good for. For instance Asthma it says that Avocados, blueberries, cranberries, mango’s, peaches, arugula, beets, bok choy, carrots, kale, pumpkin, spinach, tomatoes, and watercress are all good to help with this health issue.
Some recipes are surprisingly unconventional, but for now, my kids are really enjoying the basic fruit recipes, like the sparkling pineapple mango refresher. My husband is enjoying the dip, dressing, and salsa recipes, and they help add a healthy and flavorful element to our meals. Chapters include blending basics, breakfast smoothies, anytime smoothies, dressings/dips/spreads, soups & sauces, kid-friendly recipes, and desserts.

I would like to get this book. 175 recipes would take me 3 years to get through. I like that they tell you what it is good for too. I certainly wouldn’t get tired of the same thing each day.
This book looks really nice with all the recipes. I have a bullet and this would be a nice addition to helping me actually use it. Thanks for the review!
