This is a sponsored post from TeamSnap but either way I only bring things I think my followers will enjoy. TeamSnap is not responsible for the contents of this article.
I have everything under control for my team, why would I need TeamSnap? Let’s start with a couple of questions to give you an answer.
Do you have a list of players and their contact information – all in one place?
Do you have someplace everyone can go to for game schedules and team events?
Do you have a way to know who is going to be there Saturday for the game?
Can you contact everyone on your list with a quick email sent to every team member or text each one in case of emergency or cancellation?
Do you have an easy way to know who made it to practice and who didn’t?
Do you know who paid for team fees and who still owes and needs to pay? Or a special outing that you need to collect the money to be able to arrange the trip?
What about the player’s stats? Do you have to look at each paper and try to pull them together?
Which parent is responsible for refreshments this week? How do you keep track of this?
Do you have a place to keep team photos or videos?
How would you like to have all the above and more on your phone or computer anytime you need it?

Wouldn’t it be nice to spend more time coaching then with all the paperwork and phone calls?

I really believe TeamSnap would help every Coach that uses it.
Now I want to show you how easy it is to sign up and use. I could write a book about everything this program does so I will not cover everything. Sign up for a free 21-day trial HERE.
First I signed up for a free trial and started signing in with Facebook. This filled out part of the form which made it easier for me and will for you also. Fill in team name, sport and a few more things.
That was easy, now you get to add the players and contact information. Once you get this set up, unless there are changes, you will only need this once per season and you will use this information a lot.
From your home page you can access anything you need.
Import players information from last season, add new players and more under Roster.
Here is another easy page and gets you up and going.
Send a text or email to make for sure you have all the players needed for tomorrow’s game. Have team players or parents RSVP to tomorrows game so you know they are ready to win! Desiree does cheerleading and everything is on Facebook. This would be great to have for the championships so we all know they are ready.
Tracking who is doing what and if they are practicing, is important in any team sport. More than once, we had to change the person going up in the air for cheerleading because the original person was not at practice to know what they need to do. Even the people on the floor need to practice so no one gets hurt.
I am sure this option would be valuable to any coach, no need to worry about money getting lost, a payment not being recorded, or a child turning money in, everything is online so you are safe and secure. This feature alone would make me feel better so I would never have to make up for money not received.

With this, you can look each week and give the player homework to work on this play or hitting or anything they are not the best at. You can also use it to praise anyone that did a great job at the game!
The coach has enough to worry about without someone not bringing the refreshments the kids need during and after the game. Now it can be managed quickly, with a reminder sent the night before.
Save the team pictures and videos. Also it would be easier to learn each player’s name with a picture of them. Also what about parents, put them in there too, you will always know the right person is picking up the child.
Now the easy part, send out emails to remind players of the schedule, payments, or practice. Send it to only a few that you want to make for sure are doing their extra homework. Let the parents contact you about anything they may need.
You are all set, now download the app, and you will have it with you at all times. Ready in seconds.
Set up an email or text the night before the game. Have them RSVP and you will know at a glance, who will and will not be there. Don’t wait til the last minute to know who is playing which position. Like I said once set up this will be easy.
This page gives you some of the basic information about your team. You may manage more than one and this helps keep them straight.
