This solar lantern can be charged outdoors by natural sunlight by simply attaching the solar panel via its attached micro cable. The solar panel provides 6V or 1.6W of power to the batteries for charging to take place. Our high power Lithium-ion batteries provide 3.7V at 4000mAh once charged. To fully charge the unit by sunlight takes approximately 14 hours and to charge via USB or DC electricity takes about 7-8 hours. A red light indicator will turn on when the unit is in charging mode, either through solar or electric, ensuring that the unit is being fueled up. The Solar panel has a lifespan of well over 5 years, and that’s if it was in use outdoors everyday!

At full charge, the lantern will operate between 4-40 hours. This will depend on its brightness setting as can easily be set by the hand-touch dimmable switch. A rapid touch turns the unit on/off and a sustained, longer touch enables adjusting the brightness. There are 44 LED lights providing 300 lumens of pure white light. Our LED’s have a lifespan of over 50,000 hours.

The solar panel’s dimensions are 5 1/8″ X 5 1/2″ and has a cord that is over 12 feet long. Folded the lantern is 12″ in length, 3.5″ wide and 1″ tall and weights in at just under 1lb.

To charge other mobile devices from a well-charged lantern takes 2-3 hours. Use the cord provided to charge USB – Micro cord. The Micro end is the input and the USB end is the output to charge other devices. We also include a variety of phone connectors to assist in charging your device.
