I wanted to let you know a little more about me and what I do all day. Desiree is 14 and will be starting drivers training soon, not looking forward to that. We adopted my granddaughter so I refer to her both as my daughter and granddaughter cause her mom is my oldest daughter. Madison lived with us a few times and is close to us. Her sister Morgan we do not see very much but this summer she will live with her mom all summer which will be nice.
Jim and I have been married 24 years and lived together for 3 years before that. He was married twice before and I outlasted both of them put together LOL. Don’t worry I appreciate them for training him before I got him LOL. Jim does cooking and cleaning, plus works 4 hours a day. Since he is 76 sometimes I forget that when he is extra tired. He has a lot of health problems, mainly with his heart, so I may disappear for a few days here and there due to doctor appointments. I hate my picture being taken so I try not to appear in many, I have gained weigh over the years and hate it. But that is another post.
My favorite thing to do is travel and raise my puppies. (oh whoops, my grandkids are the favorite but not all live up here for me to see them very much). Misty and Buster are the proud parents. Jake, the sheltie, passed away last year unexpectedly. It took Buster quite awhile to get use to not having his buddy. Both Shih tzus and shelties are great pets to have. My grandkids used to pull Jake on their little laps and he would do whatever they wanted him too, he loved the extra attention.
From very little to 8 weeks we raise these dogs and sell them. We turn around and spend the money on vet bills etc for mom and dad.
They are so cute when they go to their new home, we always miss them but, glad to get our house back to normal.
Desiree was only 4 boy do I missed that loving baby!!
I am disable from working as an accountant for over 20 years. I never had my C.P.A. I was always too busy to take the test. When my adult daughters were little I was a single mom and I worked a lot of hours and went to school part-time. I was really busy. Living on a budget has taught me a few tricks on how to save money and I still use those ideas sometimes. I was heavily involved in shopping with coupons, but that took too much energy from me so I don’t do it nearly as much as I use to do, I pick up good deals when I can though.
Now what do I do with all this stuff right? Well I give it to Jim’s 25 grand and great grandkids, my family and friends, save for gift giving, and donate a lot. I try to have a yard sale once a year to clear out some of the things we replaced with a newer better version. When the sale is done we take a couple truckloads down to Salvation Army so they can help others with it.
I blog to keep busy and make enough money to pay the bills such as hosting and special programs I need, plus replacing my computer every once in a while. If I did not blog I would sit and watch tv waiting to die, cause I would go out of my mind being that bored.
Let me know something about you in the comments. I do read every comment, I usually do not reply back because I am so busy with posting etc but I plan on getting better about that.
