Grow Your Own Mushrooms With North Spore
I think I have mentioned this before but I do not have a green thumb, if any the opposite. With North Spore they make it easy for me to grow my own mushrooms. How does fresh mushrooms on your steak at home sound? You can pick them right from your home and have them for any meal you want, now that is fresh. Plus you will know exactly how they were grown. North Spore has several varieties to choose from. This is their easiest Spray and Grow Kit. Just pull off the front where marked, spray to get it wet, and within a couple of weeks you will have your own mushroom.
Blue Oyster mushroom kits are the easiest of all of our Grow Your Own kits. They are very reliable producers and tend to yield large flushes of mushrooms. They are also the easiest kit to get subsequent fruitings and should reliably produce a second flush or more of mushrooms. This is the one they sent to me. They even tell you how they cook them and the recipe.
Your kit includes an amended sawdust block fully colonized with mushroom mycelium. It may appear covered with a soft, white, mold-like substance – that’s the mushroom mycelium! It is completely normal. The mycelium of some species is more prominent than others.
You don’t need a green thumb to grow your own mushrooms at home on your kitchen counter. You can also grow edible mushrooms in your yard or garden. Beautiful and tasty. North Spore wants to make the world of mushroom cultivation accessible to all, fostering innovation and collaboration to improve tomorrow.
