I do not have a creative bone in my body. Books like I Modify IKEA help me so much. They give me ideas on how to make things look better without much work. They give great directions and pictures so I can make for sure I am doing it the right way.
I have to say when we are near an IKEA we are there. I love love love that store. Everyone I know loves to shop at IKEA. They have unique items with good price points.
This book is based on items purchased at IKEA. It gives great ideas on customizing items to match your home decor and add a little personality. Directions are clear and easy to follow. Everything needed to customize an item are given at the beginning of the project. Nothing is very expensive, you might even have them already. I love the clay pottery that is spray painted after adding a design with masking tape
It was really easy to read, really practical, and it SPICED UP MY IKEA ROOM. I’m so into it. I love having this on hand. Creative, practical, easy to do, easy to read, looks great. A lot of these tips are applicable for any type of furniture and the book really does a good job of giving a variety of options and furniture to customize. Home decor is not something I know anything about so this book is a godsend
