There is a lot of chairs all over so you can sit and relax.
Below is the video of the Tropical Plunge with the grandkids. The Tropical Plunge is a complex of six different water slide experiences towering nearly seven stories. Three of the slides on the 65-foot tall complex will start with guests climbing inside an Aqua-Launch chamber where they will wait anxiously for the floor to drop out from underneath their feet, sending them into a high-speed, almost vertical free fall through a series of flat loops and S-curves in a translucent flume.
Tropical Plunge also features a slide that will send riders twisting and spiraling through an enclosed chute featuring four intense 360-degree loops across 449 feet of slide before they’re released out into a pool of water and dueling 337-foot long tube slides that zip riders through an enchanting series of drops and turns. The lady below did not care for the ride but it was funny!
We went on a Thursday and the lines were really short. We spent so much time in Kings Island we only had a couple of hours in Soak City!
Soak City is the premier waterpark in the region. Families can splish, splash and laugh on more than 50 water activities, including 36 water slides, tropical lagoons, rushing rivers, and surfable waves including a 650,000-gallon wave pool, Tidal Wave Bay.
This is just 1/2 of the slides on this ride.
Here is the other side. You will notice in almost every photo there is a team member, lifeguard. They have a lot of them to make for sure the kids are safe! They are all professional and serious about their jobs.
Here is the entrance to both parts.
Another water slide that is amazing!
And another fun one! Sorry I do not remember the names of all of them.
These two are huge and a blast!
I was impressed by all the details to each ride, and their small child areas in both the park and Soak City. CASTAWAY COVE has a shallow water pool up to 18″ deep for small children with small children’s slides.
Guests can reach the pool through zero depth entry.
Here is the shipwreck and the slides are perfect for little one.
This one has a machine that lifts the tubes up so the little ones do not have to carry them.
This was an extra touch that every water park should have. At the top they give you suggestions for which one to use for your child.
Here is Breakers Bay. Their classic, family friendly wave pool that allows friends and families to create their own experience every time they step into the pool! Breakers Bay provides plenty of room for guests of all ages to relax, swim, and splash!
Pipeline Paradise is another one not to miss! Perfect for all wave seekers! Pipeline Paradise offers both straight waves and a curled wave for guests to enjoy.
We did not try to do this ride, this time. Maybe next time!
This is called the Mondo Monsoon. This four person thrill ride swings your raft around a dark curve before you free-fall into a funnel of fun! A curtain of water will refresh riders at both the beginning and the end of the ride.
Let’s move on to Kings Island!
This one will thrill all the dinosaur lovers! Come face-to-face with the most animatronic dinosaurs on Earth at the only place big enough to hold them all: Kings Island. See more than fifty-six moving, practically breathing life-sized dinosaurs, including several you can control. Plus, find out what it’s like to be a paleontologist at our dig site. From the ferocious Tyrannosaurus rex to the soaring Pteranodon to the largest animatronic dinosaur in the world, Dinosaurs Alive! is the dawn of a new era of thrills.
This is what you see when you walk through the gates. It is really beautiful and has lots of tables and chairs to take a rest.
This is at the entrance to the smaller children’s area. The grandkids loved Boo Blasters so much they went back 4 times. You get to shoot ghosts as you are riding through.
In the 15-time, Golden Ticket award-winning Planet Snoopy anything can happen — and very often does! Planet Snoopy features an elaborate collection of PEANUTS-themed rides and attractions for every age including four roller coasters, live shows, gift shop and meet-and-greet opportunities with your favorite pals from PEANUTS TV shows and comic strips.
On Charlie Brown’s Wind Up youngsters swing through the breeze in this miniature swing ride.
This was adorable watching the little ones in the Joe Cool’s Dodgem School cars. Young guests absolutely love it when they can sit in the driver’s seat on this mini bumper car adventure.
We had to take a picture of one of the Snoopy statues.
These little cars are the Woodstock Whirlybirds. Kids and their parents enjoy a scenic view of the award-winning Planet Snoopy kids’ area on this high-flying aerial tour.
Woodstock Express is a classic wooden roller coaster with dips and turns designed specifically for kids and their parents to enjoy together.
Kids are in the pilot seat as they fly alongside the world’s most famous beagle in a battle against the Red Baron.
Snoopy is looking too cool here.
Children of all ages will laugh and smile on this ride that takes them more than 20 feet in the air and then gently drops them in a jumping, vertical descent on the Kite Eating Tree. In the back in yellow is the Flying Ace Aerial Chase. The star attraction in the world’s best kids’ area. This suspended roller coaster takes kids (and parents) on a high-flying adventure!
Kids and their parents board a giant surf board for a fun-filled adventure as they roll, twist and turn on the Surf Dog.
Guests of all ages can learn what it feels like to defy gravity and bounce their way to the moon on these buggies.
Don’t forget to grab a t-shirt or one of Snoopy’s stuffed friends to remind you of all the fun you had.
Kids and their parents join Sally as she flies through the sky on this crazy airplane adventure that rotates and rises into the air.
Slither your way around 5,282 feet of steep drops, twists and turns through 10 acres of terrain at speeds up to 80 miles per hour with a spectacular splashdown ending to give you the ultimate thrill on one of the top-ranked steel roller coasters in the world.
Desiree and Madison loved this ride, poor Morgan was just slightly too short.
Here is the log ride for little ones. Mom and Dad can go or just send the kids.
A lot of the smaller children’s rides my girls loved. Like this one. This is the Linus’ Launcher.
Get your photos taken in the old outfit while you are here.
The Beast is the longest wooden roller coaster in the world. The Beast sprawls across a densely wooded, 35-acre site at speeds up to 65 miles per hour!
You’ll be rocketed through 3,800 feet of track at speeds exceeding 55 miles per hour through two vertical loops, double corkscrew, boomerang turn, and a 360-degree helix on the Vortex.
Standing 301 feet, WindSeeker sends you soaring 30 stories above the park on a breathtaking tower swing ride like no other.
You have to win a stuffed animal to take home!
I got french fries with bacon and cheese and we all shared them. They were delicious! You will be surprised at all their varieties.
Gifts and souvenirs can get expensive but we found this store that was $10 or less. They have a large variety of items as you can see.
Above is the drink stations they have all over the park. When you buy a souvenir cup you get refills all day, if you get a season pass you can buy one for all season. The cashier just scans your cup and you get what you want to drink.
Kings Island and Soak City offer so much to do you could have fun for a week and probably not do everything. I highly recommend this park. This would be a great vacation for families with children of all ages, and adults wanting to have some fun! This park is also extremely clean, there are people all over just cleaning, so they keep it very nice.
