These Bottle Are Nothing Short Of Beautiful!
Simple. Beautiful. Reusable.
At Water Gallery, we believe that sustainability can be artful and elegant.
That’s why Water Gallery has drawn inspiration from renowned marine artist and conservationist Wyland to create a series of uniquely decorated, reusable bottles featuring his iconic artwork and containing the finest drinking water available. These premium glass bottles are imported from Italy and decorated in California, displaying works of popular art through a 22k gold-framed window. Each artistic design is limited to no more than 1,000 bottles and new images will be introduced every six months.
Featured Artist: Wyland
Kenny Laskan, Founder
With a Bachelor’s degree in History, over 17 years of sales experience, and a deep commitment to environmental issues, Kenny brings a unique perspective to Water Gallery. His professional experience has been primarily in the beverage industry, but closest to his heart is his passion for eco-awareness and spreading the word about how to make better environmental choices. Kenny has spent a great deal of his free time volunteering with elementary school youth, teaching them the value of recycling and taking care of the world around us. He sees Water Gallery as an ideal way to bring his work and volunteer experience together— an eye-catching visual piece that is not only decorative and collectible, but also contributes thoughtfully to the movement towards reusability and sustainability. Working with his wife Leah, Kenny has found immeasurable joy in developing these beautiful, reusable glass water bottles and helping to bring them to the marketplace.
Leah Laskan, Co-Founder
With a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, Leah worked for eight years as an elementary and middle school teacher, followed by almost seven years as a stay-at-home mom. When not at home with her two young daughters, she spends many hours volunteering in the environmental realm as a founding member of her local elementary school’s Green Team. Leah is thrilled to be bringing her passion for writing and her wish to spread the word about helping the environment to Water Gallery. As the resident blogger, she is excited to work with her husband Kenny and aid in the growth of this emerging company.
They are an environmentally responsible, Southern California-based company whose goal is to create an elegant, artistic, reusable glass bottle which can be collected, displayed, reused in multiple ways, and enjoyed over and over again. They release new bottles with new art every six month and they feature artists whose work they feel can be illuminated in a special way when viewed through the water in their bottles. Our inaugural artist is the much-lauded marine artist Wyland, whose vibrant and dynamic images lend themselves perfectly to the clear glass and pristine water of our bottles.
They are not Wyland! They are their own company, Water Gallery, and we’re official licensees of Wyland’s amazing marine life art, which enables them to showcase his art like you’ve never seen before on a premium glass bottle.
Water Gallery is a small company, boutique in nature, with no wish to ever be mass-produced. They have been growing organically and methodically from our inception in 2012 (with an official launch in November of 2014). They care deeply about the natural environment and are proud to be bringing a reusable drinking vessel to the market. They try to keep their production as local as possible to reduce their carbon footprint, decorating the bottles locally in Southern California and having the bottles filled with water sourced directly from a family owned spring high atop Palomar Mountain in San Diego.
They want their customer base to grow organically with them and play a role in the development of their products. They like to post the prototypes for customers to see and weigh in with opinions and suggestions. They believe in full transparency each step of the way.
One of the most frequently asked questions when people view their bottles is, “Wait, where exactly is the art on the bottle?” What makes Water Gallery bottles unique is that the art is not on the front of the bottle, where many assume it would be. The art is actually on the inside of the bottle’s back decal. In other words, when you look through the 22-k gold frame on the front of each Water Gallery bottle, you are looking at the art through the water contained in the bottle. Viewing the art through the glass bottle and through the water enhances the vibrance and color of the piece in a way that makes the art all the more dynamic and three-dimensional, almost as if it’s suspended in the water!
Water Gallery bottles are decorated in America and they are not mass-produced. The production process is very hands-on and intricate and each bottle is created with great care. Click here to read all about their comprehensive production process. It is really unique and helps you to understand how important quality is to them.
There are multiple uses for Water Gallery bottles. You can display your bottles as pieces of art unto themselves, such as artistic centerpieces on dining tables; as part of a Water Gallery collection on your fireplace mantle; among your other eye-catching kitchen essentials on the counter; as a colorful art piece on your bedroom nightstand; next to your original paintings and sculptures as part of your larger art collection; as part of your collection in your curio cabinet.
You can use them for serving any light-colored beverage you prefer– the most obvious is water, of course, but you can also fill your Water Gallery bottle with white wine, vodka, gin, or any other liquid through which the artwork can be viewed.
Water Gallery bottles are meant to be reused over and over again and they can be alternated as both showpieces and functional pieces. Use it Saturday night to pour water for guests at your dinner party and then seal the swing top after washing it and put it on your mantle as art for the rest of the week! Then repeat.
Their goal is to release two new bottles with new images every six months. New artists will be introduced periodically. They also plan to release additional glass items, such as etched bottles, artistic pint glasses and shot glasses, tumblers, and more. Stay tuned!
They offer a 30-day simple and fair return policy. If your bottle is in any way damaged during shipping or it’s not what you expected, they will refund your bottle purchase price in full. Read more about their return policy here.
Three percent of sales goes to the Wyland Foundation. They are also a member of the amazing organization 1% For the Planet, so an additional 1% of their proceeds goes to environmentally minded non-profits. They are a certified Carbon Neutral company via the Blue Dot Register organization. Learn about 1% For the Planet here and our Carbon Neutral certification here.

I took several pictures of these so you could see them from all angles. These are beautiful!
Now I got the light out so you could see how nice these are. If I had a man cave or a woman’s cave these would be perfect!
Follow them to see all their new artwork!
They are beautiful. I love the 3D aspect of them too.

What really great bottles! Thanks for the review!
What a unique product! I’ve never heard of anything like this before 🙂
These really are gorgeous. Putting the art on the inside of the back decal is a nice idea since it sort of protects it, too. It’s less likely to get scratched or marred.
