Since it is stainless steel it is super easy to keep clean. The top and bottom come apart for easy storage and for moving. Upper chamber nests within the lower chamber for transport and stands only 12″ in height. This is made with highly polished AISI 304 stainless steel. This makes my water taste even better, and I am someone that needs to drink more water. This is perfect size to use at a cabin or in a trailer. I have mine sitting right on the kitchen counter. When we have company we can take it right outside and everyone can drink “the better” water! I love how fast this goes together and is really easy to fill.
Each Black Berkey Filter is designed to purify approximately 3,000 gallons of water before needing replacement; 2 filters in a Berkey system will purify approximately 6,000 gallons of water before replacement is recommended.

When it comes to considering a water filter Berkey water filter is the best for me. I am using the Big Berkey model and I am very much satisfied.
This looks great, and I need one for my camper! Putting it on my list.
We have a LOT of Iron in our water, so bad you can’t drink it and it has caused kidney stones for people in the home. We drink bottled water and this would be a much better way to go and save money too.
I need a good water filter to get me to drink more water. I don’t drink as much as I should and this would be perfect.

I live in Florida where you can taste the impurities of the water. I have been looking at water filtration systems, and this is the best I’ve seen. I love that it gets rid of 99.9% of so many negative elements. I’m impressed that the filter needs to be replaced after as much as 3,000 gallons of water.
Great looking filter and so versatile. Great for camping or long road trips. Hotel water can get questionable in some areas.
