Why Is Data-Driven Marketing So Important?

Data-driven marketing can look like it is hard to understand but let’s break it down.  Data-Driven = means that progress in an activity is compelled by data, rather than by intuition or by personal experience., Marketing = Marketing is the business process of creating relationships with and satisfying customers.  Data-driven marketing is what marketers get, insights and trends, by looking into company-generated or market data.  Next they use their insights from the generated material to determine what is the next step to get to the goal they are trying to reach. This may just be 1 step of a process to follow to get to the end goal, more sales, larger areas, products on shelves, product changes, new products etc. You also want to be able to adjust your plans as trends change and understand what your customers want as fast as possible.
